Ignition and adjustment

A symbol next to the control knob indicates which burner is
being operated. Each burner is fully adjustable between high and
low settings.
Spark ignition
Push in the control knob and turn it to the left.
The burner will ignite.
▷ The control knob should be pushed in for about 10 seconds
because of the flame safeguard.
Flame safeguard
Your gas hob has a flame failure device. This ensures that the gas
supply is shut off if the flame goes out during cooking.
If the burner fails to ignite or doesn't stay on, check that:
• the burner cap and burner ring are seated correctly in the burner
housing;
• the burner/spark plug (Aa) and thermocouple (Tc) are clean and dry.
