4.1. FILTER TYPES

4.2. PRE FILTER CLEANING
Plastic mesh pre-filter
Filters out large particles such as human hair, animal fur, cotton fibres, etc.
Multi-component filter units
Purifying indoor air of fine dust, mould spores, pollen and allergens, germs, viruses and bacteria.
Removing unpleasant odours and harmful gases from indoor air.
Included are:
On the left side of the unit: combi-filter consisting of EPA filter E12 and activated charcoal filter.
On the right side of the unit: HEPA filter H14 according to DIN EN 1822 incl. G4 coarse dust filter.
How frequently purification is required is determined by the operating duration, set operating level and degree
of impurities in the air. Normally, purification should be completed every 2–3 months. Please complete purifi-
cation in a timely fashion; otherwise, the e ciency of the air purifier may be reduced.

CAUTION:
Remove the plastic mesh pre-filters from the housing before cleaning, so as not to stir up dust on the device
and take it outside the building for cleaning purpose. The filter is sensitive. Do not push on the filter
too hard during cleaning!
Measures
• Clean the surfaces of the two plastic mesh pre-filters with with hand
brush, or wash them in water.
• Allow them to dry thoroughly.
