Basic operating information
• The timer transmits all commands for
executing programs to the channel extension
• Communication between the channel exten-
sion and the timer takes place via Powerline
Communication (PLC)
• During program transmission no switching
commands will be executed
Display and function keys
When the channel extension is connected
to the mains, and the mains have not yet
been connected to the timer, the yellow and
green channel extension LEDs will flash
They will go out as soon as the channel

extension is connected to the timer, see
"Add channel extension"
If you connect additional channel exten-
sions or a LAN module to the time switch,
the channel extensions already connected
to the time switch will also again enter
"Synchronization mode" Yellow and green
LEDs are flashing
As soon as you have connected the new
channel extensions to the time switch, the
channel extensions already connected will
return to the Automatic mode
During the synchronization stage, no
switching programs will be executed!
