First use
To ensure the battery reaches its maximum charge capacity, the bug zapper needs to be exposed to sunlight for
8 to 12 consecutive hours.
If after 8-12 hours of exposure to sunlight, the bug zapper does not turn on, check that the battery is correctly
positioned, and that the bug zapper is in a very sunny position and not in the shade.
The bug zapper can be used both as a lamp and as a bug zapper simply by moving the selector to the desired
position (Fig. A point 6). If the selector is positioned on "OFF" the bug zapper will stay off, positioned on "Light" it
will work only as a lamp, on "UV" it will work as a bug zapper.
Warning: The internal grid produces an electric discharge capable to kill insects.
Do not touch the internal grid even when the bug zapper is off in order to avoid small shocks.
Keep away from children.
Battery installing and replacement
Firmly hold the external plastic grid and turn it counter clockwise, in order to unscrew the top cover where the
solar panel is installed.
Turn the inner grid cover counter clockwise so that it can be removed.
Place the selector / ignition button in the "OFF" position.
Caution: Be careful not to touch the internal grid.
Lift the battery compartment cover by using the appropriate button, then install the battery provided with the bug
zapper, making sure to respect the polarity indicated inside the compartment.
