Electric Kettle Use Instructions
Cleaning
Unplug the appliance from the socket.
Let the kettle cool down and clean with a damp sponge.
Do never use abrasive sponge to clean it.
Clean regularly, at least one a month or more if the water is very hard.
To remove lime scale, use:
White wine vinegar 8°
Fill the kettle with half litre of vinegar.
Leave it for about one hour without heat it.
Empty the kettle and rinse 5 or 6 times.
Repeat if necessary.
Acid citric
Make boiled 1 litre of water – add 25 g of acid citric and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
Empty the kettle and rinse it 5 or 6 times.
Repeat if necessary.
Do not use other methods or detergents to remove lime scale.
In case of:
Use while empty
The kettle have been empty switched on or the tartar activates the safety system and block the unit: let the
kettle cool down and fill it with water. Use the switch to turn it on: the kettle start again after approx. 15 mi-
nutes.
Water smell as "new"
It happens when the appliance is new. When used for first time throw water away several times. If the problem
remains, fill the kettle to MAX. level, and add 2 spoons of bicarbonate.
Make it boiled, throw water away and rinse the unit.
