Disposing of the appliance and rechargeable battery
Appliances and rechargeable batteries which are marked with this symbol must be
disposed of separately from domestic waste. Appliances and rechargeable batteries
contain valuable raw materials that can be recycled. Proper disposal protects the
environment and the health of your fellow men. Dispose of the appliance and the
removed rechargeable battery separately at the appropriate collection points.

1. Unscrew the screw on the rechargeable battery com-
partment with a screwdriver.
2. Open the rechargeable battery compartment.
3. Remove the rechargeable battery.
4. Disconnect the plug connector for the rechargeable bat-
tery and the appliance.
