If your water is so hard that white lime deposits form at the heating unit and
in the nebulisation chamber in spite of the decalcifying cartridge, you should
clean both parts with water and decalcifier.
•
Put a small amount of decalcifier suitable for air humidifiers (f.e. SOLIPOL) on the
heating unit and nebulisation chamber. Follow the directions on the bottle. Fill the
nebulisation chamber and heating unit with water and allow to work for 10–15
minutes.
•
Remove lime deposits with a soft brush.
•
Rinse nebulisation chamber and heating unit twice with water.
•
Remount mist duct and mist pipe.
cAUTIOn: Except when cleaning, never pour water directly into the nebulisation
chamber!
Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaners or brushes - these might scratch the sur-
face and damage the humidifier.

Dry off the entire appliance with a soft cloth. Remove the water tank and allow
the appliance to stand until it is completely dry.

Store the appliance in a dry and dark place with good air circulation and pro-
tected from dust.
