Hanging up, REMS Lumen 2800 22 V
Unfold the hook (10) and hang up the LED fl ood light on a suitable object. Loosen the wing screws (8) slightly
if necessary and swing the fl ood light housing (7). Re-tighten the wing screws (8).
Operation
Switch the REMS Lumen 5000/7000 on or off by pressing the on/off switch (11).
REMS Lumen 10000 can be set for 2 selectable brightness stages with the on/off switch (11).
Switch the REMS Lumen 2800 22 V on or off with the button (11) and set one of the 3 selectable brightness
stages with the button (12).
Battery and mains operation, REMS Lumen 2800 22 V
If the power supply is connected during battery operation, the LED fl ood light automatic switches over to mains
operation. The battery (1) is then not charged. Use an approved RMES rapid charger to charge the battery.
Functional safety
Overheating protection, REMS Lumen 5000 / 7000 / 10000
REMS Lumen 5000/7000/10000 are equipped with overheating protection. In case of overheating, the bright-
ness is reduced and the original brightness is restored gain after being given time to cool down. If the LED
fl ood light switches off, it switches back to the original brightness after being given time to cool down.

Do not speed up the cooling process of the LED fl ood light by using water. Penetration of water into
the electrical device increases the risk of electric shock.
Low discharge protection, REMS Lumen 2800 22 V
The LED fl ood light is equipped with low discharge protection for the battery (1) which switches off the LED
fl ood light as soon as the battery needs recharging.
4. Maintenance
Notwithstanding the maintenance described below, it is recommended to have the power tool inspected and
electrical devices re-tested by qualifi ed specialists at least once a year. Such re-testing of electrical devices
is prescribed in accordance with DIN EN 60204 and accident prevention regulation DGUV (German Legal
Accident Insurance Association) regulation 3 "Electrical systems and equipment". In addition, the respective
national safety regulations, rules and specifi cations valid for the application site must be observed and followed.
4.1. Servicing

Pull out the mains plug or remove the battery before cleaning!
The LED fl ood lights REMS Lumen 5000/7000/10000 and REMS Lumen 2800 22 V are maintenance-free.
Clean plastic parts (e.g. housing, plastic disc, batteries) only with the REMS CleanM machine cleaner (Art. No.
140119) or a mild soap and a damp, soft cloth. Do not use household cleaners These often contain chemicals
which can damage the plastic parts. Never use petrol, turpentine, thinner or similar products to clean plastic
parts.
Liquids may never be allowed to penetrate inside the LED fl ood light. Never immerse the LED fl ood light in
liquids.
4.2. Inspection / repair

Before any repair work, pull the mains plug or remove the battery! This work may only be performed
by qualifi ed personnel.
The light sources of his LED fl ood light are not replaceable; when the light source has reached the end of its
service life, the LED fl ood light must be replaced.
