6. The fi rst time you use the device, do so without food as residual coating could cause
a small amount of odour or smoke to form. Set the device to the highest temperature
setting and to top and bottom heat and let it heat up for approx. 15 minutes without
any contents (see chapter "Operation"). In the process, ensure that the room is well
ventilated, e.g. with windows that have been opened wide!
Operation
ATTENTION!
■
Burn hazard! During operation, the device becomes very hot. Be absolutely sure
that you do not come into contact with the heated parts during and after using the
device. Use potholders or kitchen gloves when opening the glass door and when
removing or inserting food.
■
Always place the device on a dry, level, solid and heat-resistant surface with ade-
quate space of approximately 10 cm on all sides and 30 cm of overhead space.
■
Make sure the room is adequately ventilated when the device is in use.
■
Make sure that the meals you wish to prepare do not come into contact with the
heating elements of the device.
■
Do not directly place any foods containing fat or oil on the grate to avoid contamination
of the bottom heating elements with dripping fat/oil. Use the enclosed baking sheet!
•
Generally speaking, you do not have to preheat the device. When preparing
meals, which must be cooked "to perfection", preheating the oven is still
recommended for determining the exact cooking time.
•
Please observe the manufacturer's specifi cations on time and temperature
when preparing frozen foods.
Set-up and connection

setting it up.
2. Unwind the mains cord and insert the mains plug in a properly installed 230 V socket.
Your oven is now ready for operation.
Grilling, defrosting and baking
