·
There may be particles coming out of the ironing soleplate during the first use. This is normal. The
particles are not harmful and will disappear after a while.
·
While heating up the soleplate, a little steam will automatically come out of the soleplate. This is also
normal and will last about 3 seconds.
USE
This steam station offers 2 options: dry ironing or steam ironing. To do this, follow the instructions below.
Also carefully read the ironing tips at the bottom of this section before using the appliance.
DRY IRONING
1.
Place the iron on the thermal insulation pads.
2.
Insert the plug into the wall socket. Turn the temperature dial to the
desired setting, depending on the type of fabric to be ironed. The
iron will start to heat up. The temperature indicator light will start to
illuminate.
3.
When the temperature indicator light goes back off, the selected
temperature has been reached. You can now start ironing.
4.
After ironing, place the iron on the thermal insulation pads. Turn
the temperature dial back to 'MIN' to switch off the appliance. The
temperature indicator light will now turn off. Remove the plug from the wall socket. Let the
appliance cool down completely.
Caution: never touch the hot ironing soleplate!
IRONING WITH STEAM
Caution: do not plug in yet.
1.
Fill the water tank with water, being careful not to exceed the
maximum level (1.2 l). Use only tap water or 50% tap water and 50%
demineralised water in case of hard water.
2.
Slide the water tank back into the appliance.
3.
Place the iron on the thermal insulation pads. Plug the plug into the
socket. Turn the temperature dial until it reaches the area where steam
can be requested (see symbol on temperature dial), otherwise water
droplets will come out of the soleplate due to condensation. The
temperature indicator light will start to come on.
4.
When the temperature indicator light goes out again, the appliance has reached the correct
temperature.
5.
To iron with steam, press the steam button on the inside of the handle of the iron. A continuous flow
of steam will come out of the sole. When you release the button, iron again dry, without steam.
CAUTION:
Never touch the hot iron soleplate!
Never direct the steam at people!
6. After ironing, place the iron on the thermal insulation pads. Turn the temperature dial back to 'MIN' to
switch off the appliance. The temperature indicator light will now go out. Remove the plug from the
wall socket. Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
