Problem

Guarantee
We grant a guarantee of 3 years against material and manufacturer faults on the Ubbink BioPressure-Filter that applies of from the date of purchase: The original sales receipt has to be
presented as proof of purchase if claims are made on the guarantee.
Additionally, we will grant a 12 month clean water guarantee for clean and healthy water on the Ubbink BioPressure-Filter. This guarantee is valid for 12 months from the date
of purchase on condition that there is no success in detecting fouled water when filtering the pond water, especially with the decomposition of floating algae 6 weeks after the
BioPressure-Filter has been initiated. For any claims made on the clear water guarantee, Ubbink presupposes that the operating instructions have been observed and that a suitable
system (BioPressure-Filter and recommended pump) have been selected for the chosen pond.
Parts that are excluded from the guarantee:
- Breakage of glass or faulty UV-C bulbs and / or quartz glass of the UV-C device
- Complaints that are caused by faults through mounting and user faults, lack of care, influence of frost, improper repair service, results of violence, third party negligence,
overstressing, mechanical damages or through the exposure of foreign bodies as well as through worn parts because of wear.
Clear water guarantee
Our pressure filter BioPressure II is equipped with a high-quality 11 Watt UV-C device, a special filter system and an integrated contamination outlet.
This makes it possible for us to guarantee a clear water guarantee for clean and healthy water!
This guarantee is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
To claim on the clear water guarantee, the following prerequisites must have been fulfilled:
• The BioPressure instructions for use must have been observed and the appropriate system (filter and recommended pump) must have been selected for the pond to be filtered.
• If, from the sixth week after commissioning, it can be verified that no success in the filtration of the pond water has been achieved, in particular in the reduction of floating alage
(green water).
In case any problems arise, please contact your specialist trader.
Environmental Protection
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist.
Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.

Possible cause
The filter does not run 24 hours per day, for example it is
switched off at night
The filter mediums were cleaned within the last 6-8
weeks
The pond water is excessively dirty
The water values are not OK, e.g. excessively high pH
value
The pond water oxygen content is too low
There are too many living creatures in the pond
The filter or the UV-C quartz glass is contaminated
The UV-C device does not work
Switch set to "Clean"
Inlet clogged up
Solution
Run filter permanently
Run filter in first 6-8 weeks without cleaning it
Change water, remove algae
Test water values regularly and correct as required
Use of ventilation pump to balance out oxygen losses
Guideline: max. 50-70 cm fish (total length) per 1,000 litres pond
volume
Clean the respective parts
The UVC lamp may be defective and will have to be replaced
Check mains connection
Set switch to "Filter"
