IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
2.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
3.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
4.
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
5.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
6.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
10. Always plug the appliance into an earthed plug socket.
11. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
12. Read all instructions carefully.
13. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles.
14. To prevent electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plug or rice cooker heating plate in liquid or water.
15. Adult supervision is necessary when operating any appliance near children.
16. Unplug appliance from the wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool
completely before adding or removing the pot.
17. Do not operate the appliance if the cord has been damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or is
damaged in any way. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or
adjustment.
18. Never put water or any liquid into the outer pot.
19. Never plug in the power cord without the inner pot inside the cooker.
20. Any use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause hazards.
21. Do not use outdoors.
22. Do not let cord dangle or hang over the edge of table or counter tops, or allow it to touch hot surfaces.
23. Do not place the appliance on or near gas or electric burners, on a stove top or in an oven.
24. Exercise extreme caution when moving or handling appliances containing hot oil or other liquids.
25. Do not use this appliance for any other purpose but its intended use.
26. Always unplug after use. Your cooker's power will remain on unless you press the on/off switch to "O"
position and unplug the power cord.
27. The machine should not be operated by means of an external timer-switch or by means of a separate
system with remote control.
28. Use the appliance on a flat, dry and heat resistant surface.
29.
WARNING!! Please do not touch surface while in use. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high
when the appliance is operating.
