11. Troubleshooting
With this radiator, you have purchased a product that is built according to the latest technology and is safe
to operate. Even then, problems and malfunctions can occur. For this reason, the following section provides
an explanation on how to rectify possible malfunctions.
The radiator is not warm
• Is the radiator switched on?
• Is the mains cable connected to the power supply? Check the mains connection and its fuse, if applicable.
• Is the product standing upright? The integrated safety switch automatically switches a product that has
tipped over or that is lying on its side.
• Is the ambient temperature above 25 ºC? Allow the device to cool down below 25 °C.
• The thermostat has switched off. Check the room temperature. If necessary, reset the shutdown
temperature (see above in the "Operation" chapter).
• Has the thermal fuse blown? Switch off the product, unplug the mains plug from the socket and allow the
product to cool down to room temperature. Remove all clothing or objects on the convection grid. If the
product still does not switch on, it is highly likely that the thermal fuse has blown. Have it replaced with
a new one by specialist personnel. Do not change the fuse yourself.
Unusual odour
• A slight odour may develop when it is first used. In this case ventilate the room in which the product is
installed. Remove dust from the device.
12. Maintenance and cleaning
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could
damage the housing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Repair or maintenance work must only be carried out by a specialist or a repair centre. Under no
circumstances should you service any of the components in the interior of the product, therefore never
open/dismantle it.
• Switch off the product and unplug the plug from socket before cleaning the product. Then leave the
product to cool down completely.
• A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient for cleaning the exterior. Dust can be removed easily using a soft
and clean long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
