❐ Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and pets.
Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see chapter "Items Supplied and
Device Overview") and transport damage. If you fi nd any damage to the components, do not use
them (!), but contact the customer service department.
Preparation of the Mini Sewing Machine
PLEASE NOTE!
❐ Make sure the device is switched off before performing all preparatory activities. The
Ein / Stand-by button must not be depressed and there must not be anything resting on
the foot control!
You can either connect the Mini Sewing Machine to the mains power or operate it using batteries.
For battery mode, the batteries need to be inserted fi rst.
Inserting Batteries
For battery mode, you require 4 x 1.5 V AA batteries. These are not supplied with the device.

1. The battery compartment cover is located on the bottom of
the device. Open it by pressing the catch towards the cover and
lifting up the lid at the same time.
