❐ Only connect the device to a properly installed socket. The socket must also be easily
accessible after the device has been connected. The mains voltage must correspond
to the technical data of the device (see chapter "Technical data"). Only use proper
extension cords, whose technical data correspond to those of the device.
❐ Lay the cable such that it is not crushed or creased and such that it does not come
into contact with hot surfaces.
❐ Turn the device off and pull the mains plug out of the socket:
– before unlocking the locking clips
– before inserting and/or removing the juicer sieve or the pomace container,
– if you are not using the device,
– before a storm or
– before you clean the device.
❐ If you want to remove the mains plug from the socket, never pull on the cable, but
always on the plug.
❐ Never submerge the device in water or other liquids! Ensure that the device, cable
or plug do not fall in water or are at risk of getting wet. If the device falls in water,
immediately disconnect the power supply. Do not attempt to pull the device out of the
water when it is connected to the power supply!
❐ If the device falls in water, immediately disconnect the power supply.
❐ Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
❐ Never cover the device with cloths or the like. Danger of overheating!
❐ Keep a suffi cient distance from heat sources, e.g. hobs or ovens.
Notes on use
❐ Check the device for damages prior to each use. If the device, the cord or the plug
exhibit visible damages, the device may not be used. Do not use the device if it mal-
functions, has fallen down or in water.
❐ If the device, cable or mains plug are defective, do not attempt to perform any repairs
yourself. In the event of damage, contact a local qualifi ed professional or customer
service.
❐ Only use the device in enclosed areas.
❐ Always place the device on a dry, level and solid base.
❐ Maintain adequate distance to heat sources such as stoves or ovens to prevent dam-
age to the device.
❐ Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping hazard. Do not allow
the cable to hang over the edge of a table or kitchen worktop. Someone could catch
him/herself and pull down the device.
❐ Do not pull or carry the device by the cable.
❐ Do not insert any objects (spoons, knives etc.) in the fi ll chute while the device is
operating.
❐ The device is not suitable for continuous operation. Do not use the device continuously
for more than 60 seconds. Then, let the device cool off suffi ciently before using it again.
❐ Do not operate the device for prolonged periods without food.
❐ Never fi ll the device with frozen or boiling hot fruits or vegetables!
