6.2 Replacing the active carbon filter
An active carbon filter is used to remove odours when the connection of the cooker
hood to an exhaust pipe is not possible. NOTICE! Carbon filters should not be
washed or cleaned. Replace the carbon filters every 3 to 6 months.
6.2.1 How to replace the VHS60CX carbon filter
To replace the VHS60CX active carbon filter:
1.
Disconnect the power supply from the wall socket.
2.
Press the filter lock and remove the mesh filter.
3.
Attach the carbon filter pins to the holes of the blower (A).
4.
Push the carbon filter onto the blower until it is flat (B). Push hard to let the other
carbon filter pin buckle tight to the blower.
5.
Place the mesh filter.
6.
Connect the power supply to the wall socket.
