Troubleshooting

By purchasing this Mc Crypt DJ mixer, you have acquired a state-of-the-art product which operates reliably.
Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe how to eliminate possible faults here:
Please observe the safety notes!
Device does not work after the POWER switch has been switched on.
The mains plug has not been plugged into the mains socket properly.
The IEC connector is not properly connected to the mains connection (25) of the device.
The mains socket is not supplied with power.
Fuse defective.
The mixer is turned on but no sound can be heard.
No input signal; check the signal source.
Wrong input selected; select the correct input.
Input level wrongly adjusted; adjust level as described under "Volume control".
No signal can be heard although the level indicator shows a signal.
Downstream device (amplifier) not switched on or set incorrectly.
The output is not connected properly or not connected at all.
There is a humming sound.
The record player earth lines are not connected to earthing screw GND (22).
There is a ground hum between the connected devices. Connect the signal ground with special earth-insulated
cables.
A channel does not work.
A connection cable has come off.
The balance control on the amplifier or the mixer is misadjusted.
The sound is distorted.
The level on the mixer is set incorrectly or the connected amplifier is overmodulated.
The connected device does not adhere to the required specifications for a cinch connection or does not have the
appropriate connections
The volume on the connected amplifier is set too high.
Repairs other than those described above should only be carried out by an authorised
specialist.
