Berner Filling system for grease press is suitable for filling grease guns with a manually operated
lever and one-hand operation grease guns (such as air-operated grease guns) that are equipped with a
fill nipple in accordance with DIN 1283. In addition, empty Lube-Shuttle
Scope of delivery
• Gun with a fill port for a drainage/fill nipple in accordance with DIN 1283
• Cover with 3 wing screws
• Clamp screw
• Square washer (suitable for 25 kg buckets with an internal diameter of 305-350 mm as the 25 kg
Berner Multipurpose Grease, item number: 216044)

Filling capacity: approx. 45 cc/stroke
Filling pressure: approx. 30 bar
Putting into use and operation
• Open the grease bucket and firmly press the square washer on to the grease.
• Position the cover on top of the bucket and tighten the three wing screws evenly.
• NOTE! Check that the cover is locked on to the grease bucket.
• The gun can now be slid through the clamp and secured with the clamp screw.
• The filling system is now ready for use. As an option, grease guns with a manually operated lever,
one-hand operated grease guns or empty Lube-Shuttle
options below).
• Press the grease gun with the fill nipple on to the fill port of the Berner Filling system for grease
press. The fill port has a check valve.
• Pumping is not possible without using the correct drainage/fill nipple or filling adapter. The rod of
the grease pump must be completely inserted before commencement (see the image on the next
page). Filling is complete when you experience an increased resistance on the lever of the filling
system.
