1. introduction
La clé USB Zwave est un périphérique USB de la Box domotique Somfy qui permet
de la rendre compatible avec des équipements Zwave Somfy, comme les plug On-Off
et Dimming ainsi que les Micro Module On-Off et Dimming ou la vanne thermostatique
Danfoss.
2. Sécurité
2.1. Sécurité et responsabilité
Avant d'installer et d'utiliser ce produit, lire attentivement cette notice.
Ce produit Somfy doit être installé par un professionnel de la motorisation et de
l'automatisation de l'habitat auquel cette notice est destinée. L'installateur doit par ailleurs,
se conformer aux normes et à la législation en vigueur dans le pays d'installation et
informer ses clients des conditions d'utilisation et de maintenance du produit.
Toute utilisation hors du domaine d'application défini par Somfy est non conforme. Elle
entraînerait, comme tout irrespect des instructions figurant dans cette notice, l'exclusion
de la responsabilité et de la garantie Somfy
Somfy garantit uniquement la compatibilité de ses équipements Zwave et ceux de ses
partenaires.
2.2. Consignes spécifiques de sécurité
Pour ne pas endommager le produit :
1) Éviter les chocs et chutes!
2) Ne pas faire de projection de liquides ni l'immerger.
3) Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs ni de solvants pour le nettoyer. Sa surface peut
être nettoyée à l'aide d'un chiffon doux et humide.
Ne pas ouvrir ni percer la clé USB Zwave.
3. PrérEQuiS
L'installation doit posséder une Box domotique Somfy, et un équipement Zwave au
minimum.
4. MiSE En SErvicE
La Box domotique Somfy doit être sous tension et reliée à Internet pour utiliser la clé USB
Zwave
1) Connecter la clé USB Zwave au boîtier de la Box domotique Somfy (prise USB à
l'arrière du boîtier).
2) «Sur l'interface de la Box domotique Somfy, séléctionner le mode configuration
représenté par le symbole d'engrenage.
- Cliquer sur l'onglet «Zwave», puis sur «Ajouter» et rendez-vous sur la vue «ma maison»
- Suivre la procédure affichée»
3) Pour piloter un équipement Zwave, rendez-vous dans « Ma Maison » et sélectionnez
l'équipement Zwave que vous aurez préalablement ajouté, comme la prise On-Off.

1. introduction
The Zwave USB key is a USB peripheral for the Somfy Home Automation Box, used
to make the latter compatible with Somfy Zwave equipment, such as the On/Off and
Dimming plugs, On/Off and Dimming Micro Modules or the Danfoss thermostatic valve.
2. SAfEty
2.1. Safety and responsibility
Before installing and using this product, please read these instructions carefully.
This Somfy product must be installed by a professional motorisation and home automation
installer, for whom this guide is intended. The installer must also comply with the current
standards and legislation in the country in which the product is being installed, and inform
his customers of the usage and maintenance conditions relevant to the product.
Any use outside the scope of application defined by Somfy is forbidden. This invalidates
the warranty and discharges Somfy of all liability, as does any failure to comply with the
instructions given herein.
Somfy only guarantees the compatibility of its Zwave equipment and that of its partners.
2.2. Specific safety advice
To avoid damaging the product:
1) Do not drop or knock it.
2) Do not spill liquid on it or immerse it in liquid.
3) Do not use abrasive products or solvents to clean it. Its surface can be cleaned using
a soft damp cloth.
Do not open or pierce the Zwave USB key.
3. PrErEQuiSitE
The installation must have a Somfy Home Automation Box and at least one item of
Zwave equipment.
4. coMMiSSioning
To be able to use the Zwave USB key, the Somfy Home Automation Box must be powered
on and connected to the internet
1) Connect the Zwave USB key to the Somfy Home Automation Box (USB socket at the
rear of the unit).
2) On the Somfy Home Automation Box interface, select configuration mode, indicated
by the gear symbol.
- Click on the "Zwave" tab, then "Add" and go to the "My house" view
- Follow the procedure shown
3) To control an item of Zwave equipment, go to "My house" and select the Zwave
equipment you added previously, such as the On/Off socket.
