7. COMMISSIONING - GETTING STARTED
The endoscope must only be used for inspection in powered-down systems. The diffe-
rent camera heads are metal and can lead to short circuit.
For reasons of safety, switch of the power each time before cleaning.
a) Inserting the Rechargeable Battery
1. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards.
2. Insert the battery and connect the two plugs.
3. Close the battery compartment.
The rechargeable battery is located on the back of the endoscope basic device. Do not
replace the rechargeable batters with another rechargeable battery or any normal bat-
tery. Remove the battery id the endoscope will not be used for any extended period.
Make sure that the polarity is correct when replacing the battery.
