14 Cleaning
NOTE! Make sure that the device has com-
pletely cooled down before cleaning and
remove the plug from the socket.
Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the venti-
lation slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt
does not come off use a soft cloth moistened
with soapy water. Never use solvents such as
petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These
solvents may damage the plastic parts.
15 Maintenance and Repair
Firstly let the unit run in position I for at least one
minute to lower the temperature to 50 degrees
Celsius.
Disconnect the mains plug from the socket and
allow the appliance to cool down completely!
If possible, clean the appliance after each use.
Use a damp cloth, on stubborn dirt use a brush.
Do not use cleaning agents such as benzine,
alcohol, ammonia, etc. These substances
attack the plastic parts.

16 Transport
The device can be adjusted for each application
so that you can work with it optimally.

Carry the device only by the provided handles.
When transporting, make sure that the device
does not get damp and that it is protected
against impacts.
17 Storage
Make sure the unit has fully cooled down before
storing.

Store the device in a dry environment.

Store the device in a dust-free environment.
•
Keep the appliance away from children.
•
Keep the appliance in a dry place with a
temperature between 5 °C and 30 °C.

Keep the original packaging of the heat
gun.
18 Disposal
Do not dispose of electric power tools
with domestic refuse. The electric power
tool is shipped in packaging to reduce
transport damage. This packaging is a raw
material and as such can either be reused or
can be fed back into the raw material cycle. The
electric power tool and its accessories are
made from various materials such as metals
and plastics. Take defective components to a
special refuse collection point. Ask about these
at your specialist shop or local council.
