5.2 Descaling
When a cumulative usage time of 10 hours (or a month and a half) has been reached,
the '150' and '250' buttons on the display will flash simultaneously to remind you that
the product needs to be descaled.
1. Fill the water tank to the brim (above the maximum level) with cold water.
2. Add a special descaling agent for kettles, a little citric acid or vinegar to the water
in the water tank.
3. Hold down the '150' and '250' buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to start the
descaling program.
4. Allow the water to drain until the water tank is empty.
5. Repeat this process three times to remove all scale.
6. Press any button to end the descaling program in between.
7. After descaling, run the product once with water volume '350' and discard this
water.
6. STORAGE
Store the product in a clean and dry place. Do not store the product in extreme high
or extreme low temperatures.
7. DISPOSAL AND RECYCLE
Think about the environment and contribute to a cleaner living environment! This
product is subject to the European Directive (EU) 2012/19/EU. At the end of its
service life, do not dispose of the product with normal household waste, but deliver
it to a collection point designated by the authorities for recycling.
