3.2 Resetting

The product has a manual thermostat
to reset the heating function if the
product is not working properly. This
happens, for example, when the
product loses power, stops working
or the water does not boil. Reset the
thermostat by pressing a narrow object
(such as a hairpin or small screwdriver)
into the reset button on the back of the
product.

4. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The lock button flashes
and the product beeps.
The '150' and '250'
buttons flash on the
display at the same
time.
The product is leaking
water at the bottom.
The pump hums
louder at lower water
temperatures.
The water tank is
leaking.

5. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

5.1 Cleaning

1. Unplug the product and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Do not use aggressive or chemical cleaning agents.
3. Do not immerse the product in water.
4. Clean the outside of the product with a dry and clean cloth.
28
Cause
There is too little water in
the water tank.
The product has been
used for 10 hours or a
month and a half.
The stopper at the bottom
is not properly attached.
Cold water has a higher
density than hot water.
Therefore, the pump has
to work harder at lower
temperatures.
The silicone sealing ring
of the water tank does not
seal properly.
Solution
Fill the water tank to the
MAX line.
Run through the descaling
program as described
under 'Maintenance and
cleaning'.
Check the stopper at the
bottom and press it firmly.
This is normal.
Put more tension on the
spring by gently stretching
it. Make sure the silicone
sealing ring is seated with
the small round down.
