8. Remote control
a) Before first use
• A button cell is inserted in the battery compartment on delivery.
• Pull out the plastic isolating strip from the battery compartment before you use the product for the first time. The
isolating strip prevents the battery from discharging prematurely.
b) Replacing the battery
Replace the battery as soon as the product no longer respond to commands from the remote control.
• Loosen the screw of the battery compartment cover with a small Phillips screwdriver.
• Remove the cover.
• Insert a new button cell type "CR2032" with the correct polarity. The positive (+) terminal must point outwards.
• Replace the cover of the battery compartment again and secure it with the previously loosened screw.
c) Important
• The maximum remote control range is 6 meters.
• Aim the remote control always directly at the IR receiver (9).
• Make sure that there are no objects (like furniture) between the remote control and IR receiver as this could cause
signal interference.
