Control panel and display elements
Below an explanation of the control panel layout and possible display options.
Temperature

Operation and use
Switching on the refrigerator
–
Press the power button to switch on the refrigerator. Press the power button again to
switch off the refrigerator.

The screen will power up and shows the actual cooling compartment temperature and
current settings.

Use the + or – buttons to set the required temperature. After three seconds the
temperature will show the actual cooling compartment temperature again. Temperature
can be set in between values from -20 to 20°C (-4 to 68°F).
Temperature setting
This refrigerator is equipped with two temperature sensors which display the actual temperatures
of both compartments. The left display indicates the freezer compartment, the right display
indicates the refrigerator compartment. The temperature can be controlled via the app, or
changed on the refrigerator using the control panel:

Short press the + or – button to enter temperature setting mode, the right display will
start to flash.

The temperature can be set using the + or – buttons. After four seconds the selected
temperature will stop flashing and the display will show the actual compartment
temperatures again.
The temperature can be set in between values from 0 to 8°C (32 to 47°F). The freezer
compartment will follow freezing automatically, depending on the set refrigerator
compartment temperature.
Depending on the ambient temperature it might happen that the freezer compartment will
not reach up to freezing temperature. For example when the ambient temperature is low,
the refrigerator will not run as often as on hot summer days. The temperature setting can be
changed to the freezer compartment being leading, in order to get the freezer compartment up
to freezing temperature:

Short press the + or – button to enter temperature setting mode, the right display will
start to flash.

Short press the settings button to switch to the freezer compartment temperature
setting. The left display will start to flash.

The temperature can be set using the + or – buttons. After four seconds the selected
temperature will stop flashing and the display will show the actual compartment
temperatures again.

The temperature can be set in between values from -20 to -12°C (-4 to 10°F). The
refrigerator compartment will follow cooling automatically, depending on the set
freezer compartment temperature.
Which compartment temperature setting works best, can depend on numerous elements, such
as; the installation situation, ambient temperature, set temperature or contents inside the
refrigerator.
Night mode
This refrigerator is equipped with a night mode function. Activation will reduce the compressor
speed to its minimum and switch of the display for an optimal night rest.
–
Long press the power button for three seconds, the display will turn off.
–
The night mode indication light will turn green, confirming night mode is activated.
–
Short press the power button to exit night mode and return to normal display mode.
App connection
The refrigerator can be controlled using the Hykes app, which can be installed on a mobile device
such as a phone or tablet. The app will give information of the current status while functions and
settings can be changed or controlled. Please follow the steps below to connect the refrigerator
with your mobile device.

Download the Hyckes app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
–
Start the app on your mobile phone and follow the instructions on the screen.
–
Once detected, the refrigerator will show 'APP' on the display.
–
Confirm pairing by short pressing the settings button on the refrigerator.
–
The refrigerator is now connected for mobile use.
