Press the on/off switch (1) on the side of the unit to "I" (on). The light of the reception
point (2) will flash.
Set the device into operation by pressing the ON button of the remote control. The
infrared heater will now start its operation.
To stop the unit, first press the 'off' button on the remote control. Then turn it off by
pressing the on/off-switch to 'O' (off). The light of the reception point (2) will
extinguish. Finally, unplug it from the wall outlet. Allow the heater to cool down.
Warning! When you turn off the unit using only the remote control, the 'standby'
remains. So turn it off using the remote control or the on/off-switch and remove the plug
from the socket!
When you use the appliance for the first time (or after a long time again), observe it
during the first 10 till 15 minutes to be sure that is works trouble-free.
CLEANING - MAINTENANCE - SERVICE
Cleaning
This appliance consist of a robust and maintenance-free aluminium casing with a safety
grill.
Before cleaning remove the plug from the power outlet and wait until the appliance is
sufficiently cooled off. Wipe the appliance only with a clean and lint-free cloth or a soft
brush. Never use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes and chemical cleaners for
cleaning! Never use flammable cleaners such as benzene or spiritus. Give the appliance
time to dry before you use it again.
To protect against electrical shock and danger of life, do not immerse cord, plug or any
part of the appliance in water or other liquid.
Maintenance
Inside the EUROM GOLDEN COMFORT infra red heater are no user serviceable parts. The
appliance is very good sealed (IP65) en may not be opened by not-qualified persons.
