4. Mounting
The gMC-40 can best be mounted
horizontally in the forward position, to
reduce the chance of internal and
external contamination. As illustrated
in figure 1. Please make sure that
there is enough space for easy
connection with the PLEXOR
connector. The gMC-40 is mounted on
a fitting with G ¼ (DIN 3852-2/11)
thread by means of an open-end
wrench no. 27. The sealing ring may
be copper or elastomeric.

5. Use
5.1 Connecting the gMC-40 to the
®
PLEXOR
* inspection system:
•
Unscrew the protective cap from
the gMC-40.
•
Connect the hose connector to the
®
PLEXOR
* test device. For this,
refer to the PLEXOR
manual.
•
Screw the hose connector of the
®
PLEXOR
* onto the gMC-40 until
it is hand-tight. For this, refer to the
PLEXOR
®
* test device manual.
®
The PLEXOR
* inspection system is
now safely connected to the gMC-40.
5.2 Disconnecting the gMC-40 from
®
the PLEXOR
* inspection system:
•
Loosen the hose connector from
the gMC-40.
•
De-aerate the PLEXOR
device. For this, refer to the
®
PLEXOR
* test device manual.
•
Completely loosen and remove the
hose connector.
•
Screw the gMC-40's protective cap
back on.
