Intended use

The device is designed for frying and grilling food.

The device is intended for private use at home and is not suited for commercial use.
•
Use the device only for the specified purpose and only as described in the instruc-
tion manual. Any other use is regarded as unintended.

The guarantee does not cover any defects caused by improper use, damage, or
attempted repairs. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
Safety instructions
This device may be used by children from 8 years of age, or by

persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they have been super-
vised or instructed regarding the safe use of the device and have
understood the dangers arising from it.
Children are not allowed to play with the device.

Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
■
children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised.
Children younger than 8 years old and animals must be kept
■
away from the device and the connection.
CAUTION: Hot surface! The device becomes very hot
during use. Make absolutely sure that no heated parts are
touched during and after use. Only touch the handles and
controls while the device is in operation or immediately af-
ter it is turned off. Only transport or store the device after it
has completely cooled down. Use suitable kitchen gloves.
Never immerse the grill plate, thermostat and connection in wa-

ter or other liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or
get wet.
The device is not intended to be operated with an external timer
■
or a separate telecontrol system.
The device must always be disconnected from the mains if su-
■
pervision is not available and before assembly, disassembly or
cleaning.
In the interests of your own safety, check the device and the
■
connection for damage before each use. Only use the device if
it is functional.
