Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check if you can fix the problem yourself first. If
these steps do not solve the problem, contact our customer service team.
Do not try to repair an electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device is not
working. The warning
light (9) does not light
up.
The fuse in the fuse
box is triggered.
The food is too dark.
The food is not fully
roasted/baked.
During use, an un-
pleasant odour can
be detected.

Possible cause
The thermostat (4) is not
properly connected to the
thermostat socket (7).
The power plug is not proper-
ly plugged into the socket.
The socket is defective.
There is no mains voltage.
Too many devices connected
to the same circuit.
The preparation time is too
long.
The temperature is set too
high.
The preparation time is too
short.
The temperature is set too
low.
On first use.
The device is dirty.
Remedying
Correct the fit.
Plug in the power plug.
Try another outlet.
Check the fuse of the mains
connection.
Reduce the number of devic-
es in the circuit.
Shorten the preparation time.
Decrease the temperature.
Extend the preparation time.
Increase the temperature.
An odour can often occur
when using new devices
for the first time. The smell
should disappear after the
device has been used several
times.
