901 1640 ANBAU ANWEISUNG
1.
Mitgelieferte Befestigungsteile von der Anhängevorrichtung entfernen. Im Bereich der
Anlageflächen den Unterbodenschutz sauber abkratzen.
2.
Die Kofferraummatte und das Reserverad entfernen.
Die Schirmplatte an der Linkerseite unter dem Auto entfernen.
3.
Die Anhängevorrichtung unter dem Auto stellen und bei Bohrung "A", 1 Schraube M12x80
zusammen mit Füllring "1", Federring und Mutter montieren.
Der Abschleppöse ist zwischen Kugelstange und Kugelbefestigungsplatte.
Bei Bohrung "B", Schraube M12x80 zusammen mit Büchse "2", Federring und Mutter montieren.
4.
Die Anhängevorrichtung derartig stellen, dass die Bohrungen "E" sich gegen die Unterseite von
dem Kofferraum befinden. Die Bohrungen "D" kommen gegen das Radbehälter. Die Bohrungen
"E" ø 11 mm bohren.
5.
Montageplatten "3" im Kofferraum legen und diese bei Bohrungen "E" mit Schrauben M10x30,
Federringe und Muttern montieren.
Die Bohrungen "F" ø 11 mm bohren und Schrauben M10x30, Federringe, Unterlegscheiben und
Muttern montieren.
6.
Bohrungen "D" durch das Radbehälter ø 11 mm bohren. Gegenplatte im Radbehälter stellen und
mit Schrauben M10x30, Unterlegscheiben, Federringe und Muttern montieren.
7.
Die Steckdosenplatte, abhängig von der Form des Stossfängers bei Bohrung "A" oder "B" mit
Schraube M12x80, Federring und Mutter montieren.
8.
Die Kunststoff Schirmplatte wieder montieren.
9.
Die Anhängevorrichtung ausrichten und alle Schrauben mit folgendem Drehmoment anziehen:
M10 - 46 Nm
M12 - 79 Nm
Nach zirka 1000 km die Bolzenverbindung nachziehen (wie angegeben).

901 1640 FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Unpack the towing bracket and check its contents against the parts list. If necessary, remove
the underseal from around the fitting points of the luggage compartment/frame members.
2.
Remove the mat and the spare wheel. Remove the synthetic protection shield on the leftside
under the car.
3.
Place the towbar under the car and mount at hole "A",1 bolt M12x80 together with packing ring
"1", spring washer and nut.
The towing ring is between the towing neck and the ball-fastening plate.
Fasten at hole "B" the bolt M12x80 together with tube "2" spring washer and nut.
4.
Place the towbar in such a position that the holes "E" come against the lowerside of the
luggage compartment. The holes "D" come against the wheel compartment.
Drill the holes "E" at ø 11 mm.
5.
Place the brackets "3" in the luggage compartment and mount these at the holes "E" with bolts
M10x30, spring washers and nuts. Drill the holes "F" on ø 11 mm and
mount the bolts M10x30 , spring washers,plain washers and nuts.
6.
Drill the holes "D" through the wheel compartment at ø 11 mm. Place the backing strip in the
wheel compartment and mount these with bolts M10x30, plain washers, spring
washers and nuts.
7.
Mount the socket plate, depending on the bumper-form, at hole "A" or "B" with bolt
M12x80, spring washer and nut.
8.
Remount the synthetic protection shield.
9.
Secure the towbar using a torque-wrech. Torque the bolts as follows:
M10 - 46 Nm
M12 - 79 Nm
After about 1000 used km, retighten the bolts and nuts (as given).
