Setting the temperature of the refrigerator
and freezer
Turn the thermostat control in the right position .
Setting '1' = lowest cooling setting (highest
temperature)
Setting '7' = highest cooling setting (lowest
temperature)
Recommended temperature setting:
middle position . For appliances with a freezer
compartment a setting between '4' and '7' is
advised when frozen products are stored for a
longer period .
Remark:
In determining the correct temperature control
setting, below factors have to be considered:
- Room temperature
- How often the door is opened
- How much food is stored
- Position of the appliance
Fast freezing
If you want to freeze large amounts of food
at the same time, you can set the thermostat
knob to the highest position for a while .
Set the thermostat knob to the normal position
when the food is frozen .
Tips on keeping food
Only buy food in undamaged packaging .
Never storage product's too close together
and ensure a sufficient distance for optimum
air circulation in the refrigerator .
Place deep-frozen food in the freezer
compartment as soon as possible after
purchase . Make sure that it doesn't defrost
during transport .
