1.4 Important information
CAUTION
!
» Never subject the water heater to pressure.
Never close OFF the tap outlet, or use a perlator
or hose with jet controller.
»
at temperature settings above 45 °C.
» Keep children and people with limited capabili-
ties (physical/mental) away from this appliance,
unless they are being supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have received
instructions for using the appliance from this
person.
» Ensure that children at play never make any
temperature changes (to high temperatures) to
the appliance – risk of scalding.
» If this cannot be prevented, we recommend your
contractor limits the temperature on the appli-
ance. To prevent risk through unintentionally
resetting the high limit safety cut-out in case
of a fault, never supply the appliance via a time
switch.
» Scale build-up can block the outlet and thus
subject the heater to pressure.
Signs of scale build-up are boiling sounds and
contractor descale the appliance and tap.
» Only the contractor is permitted to remove the
thermostat button.
Always observe all information in these operating and
installation instructions. They contain important informa-
tion regarding safety, operation and maintenance of the
appliance.
1.5 Maintenance and care

1.6 What to do if . . . ?

Ask a contractor to descale the appliance and tap.

Where a contractor is required, they can remedy the fault
more quickly and effectively if you provide the following
details from the type plate (9):
