OPERATION

Make sure the gas valve of your gas supply is open.

Press and turn the gas dial anti-clockwise to the "ON" position

While holding the dial pressed, manually light the pilot burner.
Release the dial after approximately 5-10 seconds and make sure the flame remains lit. If not, repeat the

above steps.
Rotate the control dial to regulate the gas flow and flame as desired.

Before adding your product, lightly coat the cooking plates with butter or cooking oil (non-stick baking
spay also works well). This will help avoid it sticking to the cooking plate.
Repeat this process every few batches.

Do not overfill, add just enough batter to cover the cooking area or fill the cavities.
Remove your product when cooked as desired, using a wooden or plastic utensil.

Hot surface, be careful when removing the product. Using protective gloves is recommended.

Deactivate the appliance by rotating the gas dial back to the default position and make sure all the flames
are extinguished.

Always close the gas valve on your gas supply after use.
Clean the appliance after use (see chapter: Cleaning and Maintenance).

If you are not going to use the device for a longer period of time, always switch it off completely and
disconnect the power and/or gas supply.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The following overview will help you understand possible problems. However, only qualified technicians
should attempt to open or repair the machine. Contact your supplier when in doubt.
