1.
Remove the battery earth cable.
Remove both rearlights.
2.
Lead the end of the wiring harness with the connectors with the brown and green wire behind the bumper to the right rearlight.
Lead the end of the wiring harness with the connectors with the yellow, red and black wire behind the bumper to the left rearlight.
Tie the wiring harness with the supplied wire ties underneath the vehicle.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as indicated:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
Mount the socket to the towbar.
3.
Near both rearlight units connectors are located.
Disconnect these connectors.
Connect the connectors of the wiring harness with the brown and green wire at the righthand side.
Connect the connectors of the wiring harness with the black, yellow and red wire at the lefthand side.
Fit the white wire with a bolt and nut to vehicle earth in the centre of the bumper support.
(Make sure you make a good earth connection!)
4.
Connecting the rearfoglight:
Behind the rearfoglight a 2-pin connector is located.
Disconnect this one and connect the connectors of the wiring harness with the blue and grey wires between this connector.
5.
Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall disassembled parts.
