INTRODUCTION

2.1
Purpose
These electrical heaters have a axial fan
and are made for a flexible indoor
installation.
2.2

Principle of operation

The TBD 18 Heaters are mounted on a
frame for easy transportation.
Heating elemants are mounted in the
rotatable housing. The fan blows air accross
the heating elements.
The heater will switch off when
overheated. Overheating will occur when
the air flow is too low or when
environment temperature is to high. Once
it has cooled down, the heater will switch
on automatically (automatic reset).

Maximum thermostat
The heater a number of inbuilt maximum
thermostats that switch off the heater when
the maximum permissible temperature of
the hot air is exceeded.
2.5
Control thermostat
The heater has a control thermostat that
switches off the heater when the set
maximum ambient temperature is reached.

The heater has a control thermostat (D) and
3 rocker switches (A,B,C) for ventilation and
heating. The TBD18 has two 9kW switches.
If both swiches are turned on the heater
delivers a heat output of 18kW.

the heating elements.
