• Also pay attention that the cable of the immersion heater as well as of
adjacent appliances will not touch hot parts!
• Do not at all operate this unit with an external timer or a separate
telecontrol system.
• Never leave the immersion heater unattended during use, therefore unplug
the appliance:
- when leaving the room, even for a short time
- in case of malfunction
- after each use, before you take the appliance out of the water!
• Under no circumstances start operating the immersion heater in case the
appliance or the cable show any visible damages! The cable cannot be
replaced, thus in case of damage the appliance has to be disposed.
• Also after being unplugged, the immersion heater is still hot for the
moment and thus should not be touched or put on flammable or sensitive
surfaces. Always let the appliance cool down before being put away!
• The appliance is corresponding to the relevant security regulations. Repairs
are only to be made by authorized specialists. Improper repairs may cause
considerable dangers for the user.
Operation
• Only use slim, temperature-resistant containers holding approximately the following volumes:
- 0.25 litres for travel immersion heater models RT 350 and RTG 351 (accessory glass: 0.2 l)
- 1.20 litres for immersion heater models TS 1001 and TS 1502
- 5.00 litres for immersion heater model TS 2003
• Place the container on a heat resistant insulating pad (e.g. a ceramic tile) to avoid heat transfer to the
worktop.
• Before using the appliance for the first time and as well after having decalcified it, we recommend to
boil clear water with the immersion heater for five times and not to use this water. This is especially
important for persons suffering from an allergy.
IMPORTANT: In general put the appliance into the water
before taking it into use and only take it out of the water
approx. 15 seconds after having unplugged it!
• The marks indicated on the immersion heater show the maximum and minimum water level. The water
level must not exceed or fall below these marks as otherwise the appliance will be damaged (no right
to claim under guarantee!).
• The immersion coil heater is equipped with an overheating protection which, in order to protect the
user, switches off forever in case of dry use.
