Battery Installation
A
1. Press and hold both sides of the battery door (2). Pull it backward and then
lift it upward (see figure A).
2. Remove the old batteries and install 2 new alkaline batteries or rechargeable
batteries of the type LR6 (AA) into the battery compartment (3). Pay
attention to the proper polarity of the batteries. The polarity is marked on
the housing of the device.
3. Replace the battery door and close it after the batteries have been installed.
4. Always replace both batteries at the same time. Never mix old and new
batteries or batteries of different types.
Note: The cutter will not operate when either the battery door or the front
cap are removed from the unit.
