Introduction
The control unit provides an easy pre-programmable control for your
kiln. The control panel displays clearly the various stages of the
firing process.
The control unit has 5 settings. Three of the settings are pre-
programmed and two are not. By repeating the same programme
you will guarantee the maximum desired result each time.
Installation of the SE200/S
Connect the control unit with the help of the holder to the wall.
The best place for the unit is at eye level near the kiln.
Never hang the control unit above the kiln, but next to the kiln.
Put the plug into the connection socket (microprocessor-connection
MPA) to the side of the kiln (see fig 1.) The kiln unit is ready for use.
Put the plug into the contact and cover with the safety cover.

These you can change for one time if you wish and keep under the
same number, or make a new one and fix.
The other two you can programme yourself and fix.

Malfunctions
The control unit SE200/S controls the firing process continuously.
When something is wrong the kiln automatically switches off and a
malfunction appears on the display panel (see figure indications).
F1
This malfunction indicator appears when the temperature
of the kiln has not risen within 20 minutes, while the kiln
should be burning on full power. Possible causes:
◆ A broken or worn down heating element
◆ The lid contact is broken or does not make a good
connection.
◆ A fuse is blown (check your fuse box)
◆ A thermocouple is broken.
F2
This malfunction appears when the kiln takes longer than
18 hours to finish the programme. Possible causes:
◆ Worn down or broken elements
◆ Fuse is blown
F3
The malfunction appears when the thermocouple is
onnected incorrectly or possibly broken. Contact your
supplier.
F4
Frost can cause irregularity and possible defects to your
computer. However, if you are aware and cautious with
frost you can use the kiln. You can prevent malfunction of
the control unit by putting the unit in a heated area.
F5/F6
Malfunctions appear on the control unit if it discovers an
internal mistake in the system. Contact you're supplier.
F7
Malfunction appears if the end temperature has risen more
than 20 C. above the programmed temperature.
