Setting up the device
The „moulded recess" (B) facilitates transport of the oil
radiator.
Fasten the feet to the bottom of the oil radiator.
Respective attachment screws are provided.
Set up the oil radiator on a stable and even surface:
Observe all the safety instructions and information in this operating manual.
Make sure no objects are in the direct vicinity of the radiator.
• Choose an appropriate mounting place. It must be fixed, big enough, level, stable and far away
from inflammable materials and items, distance at least 1.5m!
The oil radiator is only intended to be set up on a horizontally, level, smooth and sufficiently
big surface (floor); it must not be wall-mounted.
Make sure that no object (e. g. a curtain) can come into contact with the heater or into its vici-
nity due to drafts. Fire hazard!.
• Use the product in dry indoor areas only.
• Also keep sufficient distance between yourself and the fan heater when it's operating, there is
danger of being burnt.
• Place the product out of the reach of children.
• Using the fan heater is not recommended for people with slow reactions or heat sensitivity.
• Do not set up the fan heater without appropriate protection for high quality furniture surfaces,
which could be damaged (scratch marks, furthermore e.g. discolourations by heat).
Operating the oil radiator
After setting up the radiator correctly, connect the safety plug
to a common mains socket, after you have turned the
„Thermostat rotary switch" (D) to position „Min".
Using the two red switches „I" and „II" the desired heating
level can be set.
Output stage 1 (300 Watt) Activate the left switch „I". Then
it lights up red. The heating level 1 (300 Watt) is now active.
Output stage 2 (500 Watt) Activate the right switch „II".
Then it lights up red. The heating level 2 (500 Watt) is now
active.
Heating level 3 (800 Watt): Activate both switches „I" and
„II". Then both switches will light up red. The heating level 3
(800 Watt) is now active.
By the stepless adjustable thermostat (D) the desired shutdown or turn on threshold can be sti-
pulated.
We recommend to set the „Thermostat rotary switch" (D) to positoin „Max" after you have con-
nected the safety plug to a common mains socket. After the oil radiator has heated the room to
a pleasent temperature the „Thermostat rotary switch" (D) can be turned down.
When using the heater for the first time, hot parts of the case may cause an irrita-
ting odour for a while. If you experience this, ventilate the room where the heater
is installed.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The product does not contain any parts that require maintenance. Never open the device!
The mains plug must be disconnected from the mains socket before cleaning the device.
Attention! Do not clean the appliance immediately after operation, let it cool
down before cleaning.
To clean it, you can use a dry, soft and clean cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
