d) Formatting a MicroSD Card
Formatting will erase all data on the microSD card,
make sure you save any important information before
formatting.
Insert the card into the card slot (7) then connect to an

available USB port on your computer.
•
Format the card using the FAT32 file system.
Refer to your computer operating instructions for information
about how to do this.
e) Setting Date and Time
The file "Time.txt" will automatically be created in the microSD
card after a photo or video is recorded by the device.
To set the correct date and time:
•
Connect the device to your computer and open the text file
named "Time.txt".
•
Type the current date and time exactly matching the format:
yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss
(year-month-day hours:minutes:seconds)

Save the file.
•
The current time and date and time information will be
recorded and shown on the bottom left hand corner of your
playback screen.
