Operational Lifespan of Battery
Note: As soon as the battery weakens, a peep will
sound every minute; when the battery is exhaus-
ted, a longer peep will sound every minute, depen-
ding on which of these events occurs first. In these
cases you should replace the battery.
Important:
Smoke detectors should be replaced every 10 years.

Description
housing must be turned
counterclockwise. The housing
can then be removed and the
battery is freely accessible.
Remove the battery from the
battery compartment. Remo-
ve the battery clip from the
battery terminals.
IMPORTANT: The correct poles
of the battery must be
connected to the smoke
detector's battery clip.
Insert the connected battery in
the battery compartment.
