INSERTING THE
BATTERY
•
Turn the battery
cover (5) anticlock-
wise and remove it.
•
Insert 1 x 1.5 V AA
battery. Make sure
to turn the battery as
shown on the edge
of the battery com-
partment. Replace
the battery cover
and lock it by turning
it clockwise so that
the arrow on the bat-
tery cover lines up
with the dot on the
appliance.

FITTING THE
TRIMMER
ATTACHMENT
•
Turn the fitted trim-
mer attachment
anticlockwise and lift
it off the motor shaft.
•
Attach the required
trimmer attachment
to the appliance so
that the pins on it go
into the grooves in
the appliance and
the motor shaft (B)
goes into the socket
(A) in the trimmer
attachment. Turn the
trimmer attachment
clockwise to lock it.
