LOADING THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
When the machine is first switched on, or if it has
not been used for a long time, or if all the water in
the tank is completely used up, you must carry out
the hydraulic circuit loading operation as explained
below.
Rotate the steam/hot water arm until it is com-

pletely outside the machine. Position a container
or a cup under the steam arm. Activate the dis-
pensing of hot water by turning the knob clock-
wise. Wait for the water flow to be continuous
for at least 5 seconds, then stop dispensing.
ENERGY SAVING
After a period of inactivity, the machine will go

into energy saving mode and the on light will
flash.
To re-start the machine lift and lower the car-

tridge load lever.
The machine is ready for use when it emits an

acoustic signal and the power light remains lit.

COFFEE
The machine has two buttons for dispensing two
different pre-programmed servings of coffee. These
quantities can be modified according to the user' s
tastes by utilising the programming option.

R egulating the dispensing spout:
Espresso coffee: dispensing spout out,
facing down.
Large cup: dispensing spout back,
facing up.
Regulating the cup-support rack:
Espresso coffee: Rack up, rotated 180°.
Large cup: Rack down (standard position).
Only Lavazza ESPRESSO POINT MAXI cartridges
may be inserted in the cartridge slot.
