Smoothie-maker operation
∙ Cut the ingredients into cubes of about 15
mm and put them into the drink container
(see pic. A).
∙ For best results, the following sequence
should be observed:
1. liquids
2. fresh ingredients
3. frozen ingredients
4. yoghurt/ice-cream
∙ The container has a maximum capacity of
600 ml.
∙ Screw the blade unit clockwise onto the
drink container.
∙ Turn the container upside down and fi t it
to the motor housing in such a way that
the two triangle symbols are aligned. Now
lock the container by turning it clockwise.
∙ Insert the plug into a suitable outlet and
use the rotary control to select the desired
speed setting or the pulse function (P).
∙ Caution: Do not operate the appliance
when it is empty. Do not fi ll it with dry
items only, such as nuts, almonds etc.
∙ If some residue sticks to the drink
container's sidewalls, remove the
container, shake it and let it run through
another brief pulse cycle.
∙ Remove the plug from the wall socket
after use. Wait until the motor has come
to a complete standstill before removing
the container and unscrewing the blade
unit.
∙ Close the container with its lid.
Wind-up power cord storage
The power cord can be wound up for storage
on the underside of the unit. Unwind it
completely before operation.
