Intended Use
The tool is intended for separating cuts and cut-outs
in wood, plastic, metal, ceramic plates and rubber
while resting firmly against the counter-holder. It is
suitable for straight and curved cuts. Observe the
saw-blade recommendations.
The tool can also be used for filing, deburring, pol-
ishing and lapping.
The user is responsible for damage caused by usage
other then intended.
Equipment protection
The maximum allowable operating pressure of
6 bar must not be exceeded. Use a pressure re-
ducer, if necessary.
To avoid damage from contaminated air, a mainte-
nance unit must be used in the air supply system.
Mounting and Adjustments
Replacing/Inserting the
Saw Blade (see figure

Before carrying out any work on the tool itself,
disconnect the air supply.
When inserting and changing the saw blade 1
we recommend wearing protective gloves.
Loosen fastening screw 5.
Insert the saw blade 1 to the stop into the saw blade
holder 6.
Tighten fastening screw 5 again.
Pay attention that the tool holder and the saw blade
do not touch projecting parts of the tool.

Inserting the Tool Holder
Remove the fastening screws 2 and take off the con-
tact protector 4.

Loosen the fastening screw of the tool holder.

Insert the tool holder to the stop onto the piston rod
6 bar
and tighten the fastening screw.

Switching On and Off
To switch on, press the actuation lever 3.
Infinitely Variable Speed Control
The stroke frequency can be reduced by means of a
pressure-reduction valve connected on the line side.
The use of a pressure-reduction valve is generally
recommended.
Sawing
Mount the counter-holder 7.
Applying firm leverage with the counter-holder 7 re-
duces vibrations. The counter-holder is adjustable
and allows for setting the saw blade depth. To adjust
the position of the counter-holder 7, loosen fasten-
ing screw 2 half a turn. Adjust the desired setting
and tighten the screw again.
Use suitable lubricants for metal materials.

Safety of the tool can only be ensured through reg-
ular maintenance.
Initial operation
Connect the tool to a compressed air system
with a maintenance unit (filter, regulator, oiler).
Using suitable lubricants can significantly in-
crease the cutting performance.
Dust Protection
Dusts developing during working can be hazard-
ous to one's health.
Wear a dust protection mask.
Light metal dust can burn or explode. Keep the
workplace clean at all times.
