4.16 Childproof lock
The childproof lock serves the purpose of
preventing children from switching on the
induction hob either accidentally or intentio-
nally. The controls are blocked here.
Switching on the childproof lock
1. Press the ON/OFF key of the hob (1 s.) un-
til the power setting 0 appears.
2. Immediately afterwards press a cooking
zone power setting display and keep it
pressed (for approx. 3 seconds) until the
sensor field lights up from 0-P.
3. Immediately afterwards slide over the com-
plete sensor field from 0-P to activate the
childproof lock. The power setting indica-
tors will show an L for child lock, the con-
trols will be disabled and the hob will switch
off.

4. Press the ON/OFF key
5. Immediately afterwards press the power
setting display and keep it pressed (for ap-
prox. 3 seconds) until the sensor field lights
up from 0-P.
6. Immediately afterwards slide over the com-
plete sensor field from P-0 to deactivate
the childproof lock. The L will go off.
Notes
In the event of a power cut the childproof
lock will not be cancelled.
