Instructions for Use
When using for the first time, clean the two plates with a cloth or a damp sponge. Lightly grease the plates with
butter or cooking oil; the appliance can emit smoke and odour, open the appliance and allow it to heat for at least
5 minutes without food. It is advisable to open the windows to eliminate smoke and odours due to the heating of
the internal components.
Place the appliance on a flat, smooth and heat-resistant surface.
Check that the power cable is not in contact with hot parts.
Insert the plug into an electrical outlet, the power light turns on.
When the ready indicator light turns on, the appliance has reached the maximum temperature.
Before lifting the upper plate, make sure that the cable end is placed in the slot at the rear part of the appliance.
Place the dough inside the lower plate and close the plates of the appliance, compressing slightly.
Be careful not to touch the hot parts of the appliance.
Warning: do not put too much dough on the plates, if it is difficult to close the plates do not force
but remove a little dough.
The churros will be cooked on average in 2-3 minutes. Check the right cooking by adjusting according to your
tastes.
To obtain a greater browning effect of the churros, a light layer of butter or vegetable oil can be spread on the
parts that are in contact with the plates.
It is advisable to preheat the plates before use by inserting the plug into the electrical socket before starting the
preparation of the churros.
During cooking the thermostat turns on and off, the same do to the power light, this is normal.
After cooking, remove the churros from the plates using a wooden or plastic spatula (not supplied).
During this operation, be very careful not to touch the hot parts of the appliance.
Do not use metal spatulas or knives as they could damage the plate coating.
After cooking, disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet.
If necessary, to move the appliance only use the thermal insulating handle, the parts of the appliance may be
very hot.
Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and
wait for the appliance to cool completely.
Clean the plates and the outside with a damp cloth.
Avoid using sharp metal tools or abrasive products as they could damage the coating of the plates.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
The appliance can also be stored in an upright position, when completely cold and not in use.
