BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic
from the device.
• When using the adapter, put the transformer/ adapter cable into the appliance.
• When using the USB cable, attach the USB plug into the power source and the transformer
cable into the appliance.
• After a few seconds, the charging light goes on to indicate that the appliance is charging.
Charge the appliance for at least 2 hours before you use it for the first time and after a long
period of disuse. When the appliance is fully charged, it has a cordless operating time of up to
120 minutes. Do not charge the appliance for more than 24 hours.
USE
• Comb the beard or moustache before you start trimming.
• Make sure not to move the trimmer to fast the first time you use the appliance.
• Set the guide comb setting to the desired length. There are 6 length settings from 0.5mm to
6 mm. Do not use the smallest setting at the beginning. You have to get used to the appliance.
• Move the trimmer against the hair growth direction and try to stay in contact with the skin
during trimming.
• Regularly clean the trimming comb by removing it from the appliance and remove the hair.
• You can also use the beard trimmer for trimming a full beard. In order to do so you can
remove the comb and trim the beard by making slow (controlled) movements.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Cleaning the clipper blades regularly will maintain their optimal performance.
• Brush the blades and appliance with the cleaning brush to remove any hair.
• When you notice the clipper isn't performing as well. Squeeze a few drops of oil onto the pad.
The enclosed oil is specially formulated for clippers, it will not evaporate or slow the blades
down.
