OPMERKING
Verticale frequentie: het scherm moet als
een fluorescentielamp tientallen keren
per seconde worden vernieuwd om de
gebruiker in staat te stellen het beeld
te zien. De verticale frequentie, of de
vernieuwingsfrequentie is het aantal keer dat
het beeld per seconde wordt vernieuwd. De
eenheid die hiervoor wordt gebruikt is Hz.
Horizontale frequentie: De horizontale
frequentie is de tijd die benodigd is om één
horizontale lijn te tonen. Door 1 te delen
door de horizontale frequentie kan het aantal
horizontale lijnen dat per seconde wordt
getoond worden geclassificeerd. De eenheid
die hiervoor wordt gebruikt is kHz.
