Charging the battery
!
CAUTION! Beware of injury
Never attempt to charge the battery while driving or while the
engine is running.

NOTICE!
Only charge the battery with the power supply unit or the 12 V
charge cable supplied. Should you need spare parts, please order
them exclusively from the manufacturer.

NOTE
The power supply heats up during the charging process.
Do not switch on the device during the charging process.
How to charge the battery from the 230 V AC mains: see fig. 9, page 5 to
fig. a, page 5.
How to charge the battery from the 12 V DC power source: see fig. b,
page 5 to fig. c, page 5.
✓ The charging display lights up while it is charging.
✓ The battery is charged according to the available battery voltage (see
chapter "Technical data" on page 25).
✓ The charging process finishes automatically due to the integrated charg-
ing electronics.
✓ The charging display goes out once the battery is fully charged.
